"Rising from the bottom centre is the germinating seed, symbolising the young mind nourished by the knowledge and skills that envelop it.

The jagged circular motif of the emblem symolises the never-ending, lifelong nature of learning, blue as the sky and water, cardinal sources of life.  The rising sun at the top becomes symbolic of a new dawn, the unlocking of a better future throung the acquisition of such knowledge and skills.

The use of the colours of the National Flag is indicative of national unity and the promise of a better life for all."
